Say Yes to the Photo Booth
Weddings are wonderful, but they can have their awkward moments. *Someone please remove Uncle Jerry from the dance floor and make him put his shirt back on – STAT.
But while all of the awkward moments can’t be controlled, most of them can be prevented with a little thought and good planning. An intentional seating chart may keep Uncle Jerry from making a scene, just as having something fun for guests to do at the reception might help keep complaints at bay while you complete that long list of family photos.
Whether planning the wedding on your own or with a coordinator, you can rest assured there are hundreds of vendors who want to help you make the day as close to perfect as possible - meaning minimal awkward moments.
Today’s featured vendor has won several awards. And while they didn’t win them for preventing awkward moments, they did win for “capturing” them.
Today’s feature: the photo booth! It provides fun so universal that the only complaint is the limits placed on how many times you can go back in.
There are a lot of photo booth options in the North Texas area, but we are highlighting our Premiere Vendor:
Picture This! Photo Booth Rental will capture the hilarious outtakes of your bachelor/bachelorette party, wedding rehearsal, or wedding, giving your guests something to remember from your event.
Not sure how it works?
They bring the photo booth rental to your event and complete the set up for you.
You and your guests go in the photo booth and start taking photos.
The photos print out immediately as 2 identical photo strips (in color or black and white).
VOILA! You can keep one for yourself and pass the other along to your guest.
They can even personalize the photo strips with a logo, an event name, the bride & groom's name, or just about anything you choose.
And Pssst. Bonus: Most people don’t know that If you’re interested in more than capturing your wedding or special event in photos, Picture This! also offers video booth rentals. Yes, that means you can collect pictures of your guests looking their best AND catch all of the fun things they have to say.
If you aren’t sure how to entertain guests at the reception this option is pretty failsafe!
*Not to mention, if Uncle Jerry decides to take off his shirt at least now it’s in an enclosed safe zone.
So, besides the obvious photo booth amazingness, why choose Picture This! ?
The owner, Tawny Laney is devoted to customer service, she attends her events personally and you can find rave reviews on both her website and Facebook. Picture This! was voted Best in Denton County three years in a row.
We caught up with Tawny and asked her a few insider questions we thought you may like to hear the answers to.
What is your favorite part of owning and running your business?
My favorite part of running Picture This! Photo & Video Booth Rentals is the diversity that it brings. Since we are not limited to just weddings, we have the opportunity to participate in a vast number of events (Quinceaneras, Sweet 16, Birthdays, Corporate Events, Holiday parties, Community Events, School Functions, Graduations, etc.). We meet lots of different people with varying backgrounds, and it’s interesting to get to know them and to see the fun their guests have in the photo booth.
What goals do you have for the future of your business?
We have a BIG announcement coming soon, but we can’t give away the details just yet. Stay tuned and we will make sure the brides that follow the Denton Bridal Show page are the first to hear about it!
What is the best part about the Denton Bridal Show, for your business?
I like that the brides who attend this show are typically local to the area and are looking to support local businesses. Unlike the large metropolitan shows, we have the opportunity to talk to brides and get to know them a little. I like building the personal relationships with clients and often these friendships grow beyond just the event. Larger shows are impersonal and often lack the cohesiveness and camaraderie that we experience at the Denton Bridal Show not only with brides but with other vendors.
Ideal celebrity wedding couple?
Hmmm…that’s hard to say. Can I get Jennifer Aniston & Brad Pitt back together?
