Their venue is bordered by 215 acres of wandering countryside making it the perfect spot for that rustic, Texas wedding.
One of the things that ensures Barnett Estates stands out form the rest, is fact the they provide not one, but multiple locations for you to choose from at the same venue. Yes, you heard right, their 215-acre property allows them to offer multiple outdoor locations for you to choose from when selecting your ceremony site. And they have also covered the bases in providing an all-weather outdoor option in case mother nature decides not to cooperate on your special day!
Besides the fact that they can offer multiple site locations, Barnett Estates offers all-inclusive packages. When you book you are not just offered the venue, but options to select other onsite services such as catering, customized wedding cakes, bar and bartender, floral and decorating design, DJ services, wedding planning, even personalized gifts, and fireworks displays! They can also offer coordinated services for hair, make-up, photography, videography and officiants.
Already have your own wedding planner and caterer booked? No problem! One of the other things Barnett Estates believes in is having your day, your way! They allow you to bring outside vendors of your choice. Barnett Estates will do as much or as little as you like on your wedding day. In fact, that’s another one of their mottos.
We were curious as to how and why this became their motto, so we caught up with their venue manager, Brittney Hunter, and she filled us in and answered some other questions we had.
How did Barnett Estates get started?
Through the process of planning their own daughter’s wedding, the owners realized there were virtually no reasonably priced all-inclusive venues in the area. They were building a horse barn during that same time and their daughter decided to have her reception in their barn. As they explored the wedding industry further, they felt it didn’t allow you to do your wedding your way. So, In the spring of 2014 they opened Barnett Estates and their motto became “Your Day, Your Way”, allowing brides the option of choosing to bring in their own vendors or purchase Barnett Estates all-inclusive services!
What is your favorite part of owning and running your business?
After the wedding there is a sense of accomplishment because you see that the couple, families and guests had an amazing night with no stress.
What is your most unique quality that sets you apart from the competition?
All brides, grooms, and their families become part of our family. We treat each bride like she was our daughter or sister.
What is the best part about the Denton Bridal Show, for your business?
The Bridal Show allows us to show case our offerings to our brides. It is the one place brides can come to find everything they may be looking for locally. It really helps us to get our name out there.
What is the best moment during a typical wedding day, in your experience?
I think the best part of most weddings is the couple’s first dance. In dancing a couple must come together and move as one and it is really symbolic of their lives beginning together as one.

Fall, because weddings are beautiful in the Fall in Texas!
